Frame made from Brazilian Lacewood with White Oak inlays in the corners.
Art within is from Circle Square Diamond, a company who makes SUPER cool “modern artwork for fans of mountains” – they basically map out the topography of ski mountains with the associated colors of green/blue/black according to the trail difficulty.
It turns out I am unfortunately violently allergic to Lacewood, and I broke out in savage hives over the course of over a month, calmed only by multiple steroids…so make sure to always remember to wear your respirator and use caution when using foreign materials before you know how you react to them!
